From the spirited atmosphere to its talented cast and crew, Nightmare New England is committed to giving customers an evening filled with thrills, chills, stories, and Halloween memories. More than just haunted houses, Nightmare New England is a celebration of Halloween–a month-long party dedicated to New England’s favorite holiday!

Situated outside, along the banks and forest of the Merrimack River, visitors of Nightmare New England will experience the dark countryside as a central character in this twisted trail of terror.  Located in Litchfield, N.H., this scream park features five haunted attractions on location—both indoor and outdoor, a restaurant, bars and more. The Monster Midway plays host to sideshow attractions, live music, zombie paintball, go-kart racing, mini-golf, batting cages, concessions, tarot card readings, fire-pits and more!

A New England autumn would not be complete without the thrills and chills of Halloween, and Haunted Overload is delighted to welcome the Legendary Haunt Tour to experience it with us in 2014. Haunted Overload blends its astonishing handmade sets, gigantic monsters and spellbinding original costumes with spectacular sound and lighting to create a twisted, terrifying walk through one of the spookiest patches of woods that DeMerrit Hill Farm has to offer.

Things to Do In Salem

Halloween New England is working with dozens of Salem business to let them know that the Legendary Haunt Tour is coming to their beautiful city this November. Many businesses will be open during the LHT visit and HNE is compiling a list of the attractions, tours, museums, restaurants, and shops that will be extending discounts to folks wearing LHT wristbands.  A quick sample of who will be offering extra savings to tour attendees include Salem Historical Tours, The Witch House, the Salem Witch Museum and Spellbound Tours, among others.

In the weeks before your visit, Halloween New England will publish a special Legendary Haunt Tour guide for you so you can easily find which Salem businesses and attractions are open beyond October and which discounts they’ll be extending your way. HNE will also list important details such as whether a minimum is required for a tour or if a business has added a special daytime tour to accommodate LHT attendees. Remember, although most attractions and museums may have open-house hours, most tours will require advance booking or reservations.
